Teen Online only
Our online classroom is a great option for students who need extra flexibility, and who like to work at their own pace. The online classroom is completed using their own device while at home.
The online program satisfies the required 30 hours of classroom instruction required by the Wisconsin DMV. Students can work up to two hours each day on the online program and can complete the entire program in a minimum of 21 days! Although three weeks is the minimum, the maximum time a student is allowed to work on the online program is 90 days. All students must complete the entire classroom portion and be 15 years of age before moving on to Behind the Wheel lessons. If a student does not complete the entire online portion in 90 days an extension can be filed for an additional $30 fee but it is best to complete within the 90 days to be sure that all of the lessons are fresh in their minds when beginning to drive on the road.
What happens after I complete my ONLINE courses?
The next step is to take the state knowledge and signs tests.
After completion of the online section, we will call you within 24 business hours to help your student get their permit. This will require taking the written test at the DMV. We will get you the MV3001 form that has been signed by us, stating that the online classroom section of the class has been completed. The student will go to the DMV, take the test and get their permit to start behind the wheel lessons.
What is the MV3001 form and where do I get it?
The MV3001 form verifies the student has fulfilled the classroom requirement or is in the process of completing the classroom portion of driver education and is 15 years of age or older. A Double Wing Driving School employee will get this to you
